Ramadan Sobhi says Huddersfield Town are not looking to loan him out in January, quashing rumours of a return to Al Ahly in Egypt. The 21-year-old has been linked with a return to the Cairo-based club where his career began after their African Champions League final defeat to Esperance earlier this month.
Their 4-3 aggregate defeat to the Tunisian champions last week led Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib to promise the fans a number of incoming transfers in January.
And despite Sobhi’s agent, Nader Shawky, making it clear that Town had no plans to let the ex-Stoke City winger go in January, the player himself also denied the rumours.
He told ONSport [via KingFut.com ]: “No one has spoken to me from Al Ahly, but I am ready to help the team anytime. I am always there. “However I have a contract with Huddersfield, and I want to do something with them.”
When asked if he could rejoin Al Ahly on loan in January, Sobhi said: “Huddersfield want to keep hold of me, I do not think they want to loan me out, they have just signed me a few months ago.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
