Sociedad Fans Want Moyes Sacked After Atletico Defeat

Former Everton and Manchester United manager David Moyes is under severe pressure after Real Sociedad fans called for him to be sacked on Sunday night.
Sociedad manager Moyes said “I know I’m the best man for the job” after the pressure on him grew with a 2-0 defeat by Atletico Madrid.
Fans reportedly chanted “Moyes go home” in English with Sociedad only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
“You cannot always keep changing your manager and think that’s the answer to your problems,” the Scot said.
The former Preston, Everton and Manchester United manager was appointed by the Basque side last November.
They ended with nine men as they lost to Atletico Madrid in a controversial finish on Sunday.
Antoine Griezmann gave Atleti an early lead with a run from the halfway line and chip over the goalkeeper.
Diego Reyes was sent off for Sociedad for a second booking late on.
Sociedad wanted a penalty when Jose Gimenez tackled Jonathas, but Atleti broke and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco sealed it – with Jonathas sent off.
The Brazilian striker, who was only an 84th-minute substitute, was enraged when he appeared to be tackled by Gimenez, who used his head, while on the floor, to bring him down in injury time.
Referee Ignacio Iglesias Villanueva waved away the appeals and moments later Fernando Torres set up Ferreira Carrasco to finish off a counter-attack.
Sociedad protested the decision furiously to the referee, who showed four yellow cards – including two to Jonathas.
Moyes’ side are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference with six points from eight games.
Atletico are two points off joint leaders Real Madrid, Celta Vigo and Barcelona.

Since the media have decided to shy away from their responsibility of unravelling the conspiracy between the NFF and the Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh. I have chosen to tow a different path from the cowardly path of the media. We all can still recall Enyeama’s rift with the NFF, in the aftermath of his comment after the Nig/BFA match in kaduna. The NFF have since then sought for a way to oust the skipper from his position. The NFF knowing that Stephen Keshi wouldn’t accept to take off the captain’s ban from Enyeama decided to take advantage of Keshi’s flirting with the Ivorian FA to replace him with a new coach who would be willingly to appoint a new captain if he is to get the Job. Sunday Oliseh didn’t see that as a barrier for him accepting the Job any Nigerian would love to have. So he took the bait and accepted the job. So the appointment of Ahmed Musa as the Captain should be no surprise to Nigerians. The NFF’s timely intervention to pour water over the fire in the Eagles camp was so as to avoid the slightest accusations and erase every suspicions. So Enyeama’s ouster as Captain was the unwritten clause in Oliseh’s contract. That, fellow Nigerians is the great conspiracy between the NFF and Oliseh.
