Flying Eagles star, Kingsley Sokari, is hopeful his performance at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand can help him cement a place in the senior national team.
The Enyimba midfielder has impressed in the middle of the pack for Manu Garba's men since coming as a replacement for Kelechi Iheanacho in the African champions' opening fixture against Brazil. His eye catching performances have made many to tip him for greater things and a future role in the Super Eagles.
Though he insists he still has to polish his game to earn a place in Stephen Keshi's side, the youngster has high high hopes for the future.
"It will be great to be an important member of the Super Eagles, but I need to work really hard to get to that level," he declared to completesportsnigeria.com.
"It was great getting to watch the likes of Sunday Oliseh and Jay Jay play for the Super Eagles and I hope to emulate them one day.
