Flying Eagles midfielder to the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand Kingsley Sokari has revealed why he chose to sign a three year deal for Tunisian side, Esperance.
The former Enyimba star has signed a lucrative deal for the Blood and Gold despite exclusively telling Completesportsnigeria.com that he wants to play for one of the best sides in Europe, specifically suggesting the Dutch and French leagues.
"Esperance is home to Nigerian players. The club officials and fans welcomed me warmly," Sokari told Completesportsnigeria.com on Tuesday.
"The fans speak in glowing terms about our players and still remember fondly the exploits of Michael Eneramo.
"The club trust Nigerian players a lot. It was crucial in my decision and I hope my time will be fun here.
"Yes every player wants a move to Europe, but this is a big club," he concluded
Sokari was one of the Flying Eagles' regular players at the U20 World Cup, scoring one of Nigeria's goals in the 4-0 victory over Korea DPR.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
