Nigeria international Efe Ambrose was red carded for the second time in four days – first last Wednesday and yesterday, Sunday.
World Cup defender Ambrose featured for Celtic in a pre-season friendly against Tottenham Hotspur, which the EPL side won 6-1 in Helsinki, Finland.
The former Ashdod FC was given the marching order by the referee in the 90th minute following a second bookable offence for a foul on Danny Rose.
Ambrose fouled Adebayor close to the edge of the 18-yard box which attracted the first yellow card and the resultant free kick was converted for the third goal.
The Nigeria defender was also red carded on Wednesday while in action for Celtic in a UEFA Champions League game which they lost 4-1 to Legia Warsaw of Poland.
