Tottenham have been drawn to face German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund over two legs in the Champions League last-16.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side pipped Inter Milan to qualify for the last-16 behind group winners Barcelona last week, but now face a difficult obstacle in the form of Lucien Favre’s side following the draw for the first knockout stage, which took place in Nyon on Monday morning
Dortmund topped Group A, are still unbeaten domestically and are the German league’s top scorers with 41 goals in 15 games.

However, Spurs played Dortmund twice in the group stage last year and won both games.
Meanwhile, after winning their group, Manchester City have been drawn against German Bundesliga outfit Schalke – who they last met in the UEFA Cup back in the 2008/09 campaign.
Manchester United’s reward for qualifying from Group H is a tie against the top scorers in the tournament so far, Paris Saint-Germain.
Liverpool will head to Germany to take on five-time winners Bayern Munich – with the two teams not meeting in this tournament since 1981.
The other fixtures see Atletico Madrid clash with Juventus, Ligue 1 outfit Lyon take on Barcelona, Roma face Group D winners Porto, while four-time winners Ajax come up against 13-time winners and defending champions Real Madrid.
The group winners are away in the first leg of the round of 16 on either 12/13 and 19/20 February, then at home in the return matches on 5/6 and 12/13 March.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
