Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo has reportedly emerged as a transfer target of English Championship club, Stoke City.
The Nigerian-born player has been lined up by the Potters as replacement for Switzerland star Xherdan Shaqiri who is set to join Champions League finalists Liverpool.
Liverpool are closing in on a deal for Shaqiri while Stoke City have asked for Ojo to be included in the transfer.
According to The Sun , that has resulted in Stoke asking for a player in return with Ojo said to be on the radar of boss Gary Rowett.
Ojo has made a total of 13 first-team appearances for the Merseyside giants, but the last campaign was spent on loan at Fulham where four goals came in 22 outings in the Championship.
The report suggests that the Potters are keen to secure a similar deal with Rowett looking to add the 21-year-old to his attacking ranks ahead of the upcoming campaign.
