Stoke City manager Gary Rowett has revealed that scouts will be monitoring Oghenekaro Etebo while on international duty for Nigeria when they face Seychelles in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match inn Victoria on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Rowett also hopes to be in the Millennium Stadium to watch the pair of Joe Allen and James McClean for Wales against Ireland in the Uefa Nations League.
“There’s a few of the lads saying they want to keep tabs on Peter Etebo because Nigeria are playing in The Seychelles, so they are desperate to go and scout that game,” Rowett told Stoke Sentinel.
“But I thought asking for a week out there was a little over the top!”
Etebo who is still been expected in the Super Eagles camp will be hoping to make his 15th appearance for the three time African Champions in the encounter.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
