Nigeria forward Isaac Success has confessed Burnley deserved their victory against Watford in Monday night English Premier League game at Turf Moor.

Goals from Jeff Hendrick and Michael Keane gave Burnley a 2-0 win against the Hornets.

Success was brought in for Nordin Amrabat in the 58th minute.

Reacting to the loss, Success told watfordfc.com he hopes to get more playing time to help his team.

“They were more ready than us, both physically and mentally – and they deserved the three points," the Super Eagles star said.

“I felt great, I came in to change and improve the tactics of the team, I’m improving all the time.

“I did what I can do, and now I’m hoping to get more time to show what I can do and to improve the team.

“He [Walter Mazzarri] knows what I can do, and anytime he wants me to play, I come up and give my best.”

The 20-year-old forward, who has been invited for Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Zambia in October, however called on his team-mates to put the defeat to Burnley behind them and focus on getting three points against Bournemouth.

“We have to do what the fans expected us." he explained.

“We have to get the three points against Bournemouth, so we need to go back to the drawing board now and prepare for them.”
