Granada forward Isaac Success is delighted to earn a call-up to the national U-23 team for next month’s Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The 19-year-old forward was named as one of the 16 man foreign-based players in the preparatory squad for the competition and has promised to give his utmost best when he joins the squad.
“I’m happy to be called up and I will give my best to the team to qualify for the Olympics in Rio,” Success told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“Having played for the U-17s and the U-20s, I am elated with my progression and I hope to justify my inclusion.”
Success has scored twice in eight La Liga games this season for Granada.
Other players included in the squad are Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Junior Ajayi, Moses Simon and Stanley Amuzie who just returned to light training at Sampdoria.
