Granada forward Isaac Success is a major doubt for Nigeria at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, his former youth coach Douglas Idahosa has told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Idahosa also revealed that Success, a the former Nigeria U-17 and U-20 player, will join Watford before the end of the month.
He disclosed that the Nigerian Football Federation have made it difficult by not making a formal move for the player.
“Invitation to camp has not been sent to his club so that makes it very difficult for him to join up with the squad in Abuja,” Idahosa, who coaches BJ Foundation, told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“Isaac will join Watford before the start of next month.”
Success, who emerged as the player of the season for Granada last season, is expected to sign a five-year deal with Watford.
The 20-year-old, according to Idahosa, is expected in Spain this weekend to bid the club personnel and fans goodbye after two successful seasons at the club.
