Nigerian forward Isaac Success made his Watford debut in a pre-season friendly against Stevenage on Thursday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The ex-Flying Eagles star joined the Premier League club last week for a club record £12.5 million.
Success replaced Adlene Guedioura in the 75th minute as Watford defeated the fourth-tier Stevenage 2-0.
Etienne Capoue’s 50th minute goal and Jerome Sinclair’s strike in stoppage time settled the match in which Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo went close to scoring several times.
Ighalo, Watford’s top scorer last season with 15 Premier League goals, had a shot cleared off the line in the 27th minute after rounding the Stevenage keeper.
The Super Eagles striker was denied again when his volley from close range struck the Stevenage bar in the 44th minute. How Natural Herbal Remedy Killed Stubborn Staphylococcus, Ecoli And Aureus And Other Infections
