Isaac success is in a good form of a late and almost found the back of the net if not for the bar. He deserves a call up and not just that but an appearance because coach is good at benching good and inform players!

Rohr has a tendency to bench our good plays. Remember how he failed woefully to use Iwobi effectively in Russia. Lets see what he brings to the table next week against Libya.

True talk the manner at which he used iwobi can even make the lad ignore future invitation I was really pissed!

      • I must say my respect for Rohr reached an all-time low in Russia. I’m just getting over the disappointment. Right now I don’t know where to place him, but I can just perceive streaks of deliberate betrayals in his actions. I hope I’m wrong.

Is it his 11th assist this season?

  • Abdul andah 3 years ago

Rohr should always allow iwobi to operate from 10.thats where iwobi will enjoy his game with more impact to the team forward and the team wingers…iwobi has that killer and sublime passes. He will surely dovetail the midfield with skills and artistry..
I don’t know why gernot Rohr can’t spot what we the (fans) can see. At least we have better wingers than iwobi currently in likes of Samuel Kalu, onyekuru Henry, Simon moses and Ahmed musa.
While we are waiting for FIFA to clear LOOKMAN AND OJO for us.

  • it shal be wel wit nigerian and it super eagle. let put it in prayer iwobi shal play from de right position #10. and u pple shld stop callin success, cuz he wil not play u nd i knw it Except we dont have Gernot rohr. it is our super eagle let pray for ighalo to be change like APC. ED

@Oluwa…you are just spot on for me. Let all pray for Ighalo to change. And as for Isaac Success, he’s not convinced anything in me that will make him deserve a call-up to the National team. At least not now. He can’t displace anybody in that attack presently. Iwobi should operate as #10 for Nigeria cuz there are too many good players in that wing position. Mikel should play ?? I don’t even know. But all I know is that he still has that great influence in the team and cannot be benched.

Just coming in!! I don’t know how true this is

Exclusive – Isaac Success Makes Eagles Squad For Libya Game

    September 30, 2018

Isaac Success has been handed a recall to the senior national team of Nigeria by coach Gernot Rohr for their upcoming back to back AFCON 2019 Qualifiers tie against Libya, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Success last played for Nigeria in 2017 in a friendly game against Senegal and despite impressing after coming on as a second half substitute, injuries, fitness and poor form has kept him out of the Nigerian team.

Since the start of the season, the 21 year old has turned a corner in terms of his fitness and performance as he has been involved with Watford, although mostly as a substitute in the league but in the Carabao Cup he scored twice for them before their exit in the hands of Tottenham Hotspurs on Wednesday.

Rohr is a big fan of the forward due to his physical attributes and ability to play on the flanks and as a top striker, a chance to stake a claim for a spot in the senior national team of Nigeria has now been handed to the forward.

He will be in the list of players which will be released on Tuesday for next month game against group leaders Libya in Uyo and later in Tunisia, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
