Sunderland coach David Moyes is banking on the Black Cats' supporters to end their miserable run in the English Premier League when they host Arsenal at the Stadium of Light, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Sunderland are bottom of the log with just two points from their opening nine games. Their worst ever start to the EPL.
And Moyes who has been charged with misconduct after being sent off at Southampton on Wednesday is banking on his team's good spirits to record his first win of the campaign.
"Our confidence is good and the players know they are doing better," says Moyes.
"The results haven't shown that but the last two results could have been different.
"We want the fans in full voice but what we do on the pitch will determine that so we need to get them off their seats.
"Arsenal were strong last year and they've been contenders for the Premier League for many years. They are strong again this year."
