Sunshine Stars of Akure have insisted that star forward Ajani Ibrahim will not leave the club this season.
The hitman has been linked with a move to South West rivals Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.
But the Akure Gunners chief scout Adeyinka Adebayo has expressed the desire of the club to hold on to one of their key players.
Adebayo told completesportsnigeria.com that the former U23 Eagles invitee has a contract with the club until 2017.
"The club (Sunshine Stars) have made our stand on Ajani's transfer to 3SC known and that is what we are going o standby," Adebayo said.
"3SC tried to sign him through the back door and that has strengthened our desire to hold on to him.
"We want to make them realise that things should be done appropriately and that will teach them lesson in future."
