Sunshine Coach: We Are Out Of Glo League Title Race

By Adeboye Amosu In Warri:

Sunshine Stars coach Kennedy Boboye says it will be difficult for his side to win the Glo Premier League title following Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Warri Wolves, completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The Owena Waves were totally outplayed in the encounter as they struggled to create clear cut chances and justify their tag as title contenders.
They next travel to Kano where they will come up against champions Kano Pillars in another make or mar encounter next weekend.
Boboye admitted to completesportsnigeria.com after the game that his side now have little chance of winning the title following the defeat to the Seasiders.
“It’s going to be difficult for us to now win the title,” the former Sharks tactician confessed to completesportsnigeria.com after the game.
“We came here (Warri) with the intention of winning the game, but my boys especially the midfielders failed to play to instructions.
“We will do our best in the remaining six games, but it’s going to be a massive task for us if Enyimba beat Heartland in Owerri or pick a point there.
“Our next game is against Kano Pillars in Kano which is a difficult place to go.”
The Akure-based outfit who now occupy third place on the log have struggled on their travels this season, picking only two wins from 16 games.
