The Super Eagles of Nigeria will depart Abuja for Uyo on Monday in preparation for Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Bafana Bafana of South Africa, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Gernot Rohr-led side arrived in Abuja from France on Friday and have been lodged at the Bolton White Apartments. They are scheduled to train Monday evening at the Abuja National Stadium.
But according to a tweet on the official handle of the Super Eagles the team will fly out to Uyo on Monday.
“We will be leaving Abuja for Uyo on Monday to commence final phase of preparations for 2019 AFCON qualifier vs S/Africa. Media Alert,” a tweet from the handle @NGSuperEagles reads.
“Our pre-match media parley will take place on Thursday, June 8, at Le Meridien Hotel, Uyo at 12pm. Media identification is key.”
The Super Eagles are expected to lodge at the Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo.
