Our players deserve those monies; we ought to be rewarding our sports men and woman just to Show appreciation.

  • Are you f***** kidding me. The player that got the winning goal that secures the world cup ticket earns £25,000 a week. Think about mikel that earns far much in his new club. Ighalo, the two Moses etc. And you come out with the news about each player will pocket N1m each for securing the world cup ticket. The writer of this article should be in jail.

What about the referee, has he been paid yet, for disallowing a clear. Go and lift the world cup.

Funny, it’s always when an offside position results in a “goal” that bad losers complain. The offside rule is not carried out with the precision of a Swiss watch, since referees and their assistants are human. But someday soon, like goal line incidents, technology may step in. Then we might hear a loud siren in the stadium when a player is offside. I wonder how many of these officials Nigeria is supposed to have bribed over the years, since we have qualified for the World Cup 6 times now, and the Zambians have never been anywhere. Did Nigeria also bribe the officials when they beat Zambia at Ndola? And why the other teams in our group never had the intelligence to bribe officials as well is a marvel.

Where is this mumu called 90minutes from?

@90Minute u aint far from being stupid. Your player deliberately continued playing when referee had long blown the whistle and the opposing team players were just running after him to play safe. Please let’s remove sentiments and face the fact, u lost to a better team!!

In all honesty, I think Zambia really gave us a run for it. It wasn’t as smooth as many Nigerians had predicted and indeed, the Zambian coach’s bragging can be excused. Thank you chipolopolo, you made it look like a final. Eagles, fly for Africa
