Super Eagles Train At Barnet Stadium, To Train At Wembley On Friday

The Super Eagles had their first training session in London on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s friendly against England, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The team, who played a 1-1 draw with Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday in Port Harcourt, arrived in London on Wednesday.
“Back to work. We resumed training at The Hive, Barnet Stadium this evening ahead of Saturday’s prestige friendly against England.
#SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong,” the Super Eagles tweeted on Thursday evening with pictures of the players in training.
The team will have their official training at Wembley Stadium on Friday by 5pm.

“Our press conference ahead of Saturday’s international friendly against England holds tomorrowFriday, June 1, 2018 at The Wembley Stadium. Time is 4:15pm.

“Our official training starts immediately after, at 5pm,” the Nigeria Football Federation tweeted.

Both the Super Eagles and England are using the friendly game to prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Eagles are in Group D alongside Argentina, Iceland and Croatia while England will battle Tunisia, Panama and Belgium in Group G.
