Supersand Eagles captain Isiaka Olawale has stated that the semi-final game between Nigeria and Senegal at the ongoing African Beach soccer championship in Seyechelles will be a massive one. And all the players have resolved not to leave any stone unturned to record victory tomorrow against Senegal.
It can be recalled that Senegal stopped Nigeria from qualifying for the beach soccer world cup last time out in Haiti.
“The game against Senegal will not be an easy one but the (Nigerian) players are ready for the task ahead.
“Senegal are a strong team and experienced in this competition but we are looking forward to reaching the final,” Olawale told the media.
The Sand Eagles captain has scored 4goals so far in this championship.
Nigeria need to win against Senegal to book one of the two spots reserved for Africa at this years World Beach Soccer World Cup.
However,the mood in camp remain high as all the players are battle ready for the game. Victor Tali is nursing a minior groin injury, but should be fit for the Senegal game on Saturday.
