In a bid to muster enough support for the Super Eagles in the Brazil 2014 World Cup , the Nigeria Football Supporters Club has signed a sponsorship deal with Guinness Nigeria Plc to sponsor some members of the club to the championship.
It would be recalled that this is the second time the company will be sponsoring the NFSC The first was the last AFCON 2013 in South Africa where the Super Eagles emerged champion.
The partnership will ensure the Super Eagles do not lack the moral support and the resilient Nigerian spirit as they tackle their opponents.
According to Austin Ufomba, Marketing and Innovation Director Guinness Nigeria, there is need for the supporters club to be good ambassadors of the country and not hold back such in showing total support for the Eagles.
“In Guinness, this is one of the platforms through which we support the Super Eagles. During AFCON 2013 we took 200 fans to South Africa, and now we are sponsoring members of the NFSC to a major football tournament.
“We strongly believe that the Eagles will do us proud at the championship and our support remains unwavering because we know our dear national team are truly made of more” Ufomba said.
