LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not rescind his retirement to play for Sweden at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The former Manchester United and Barcelona star, 36, hinted recently that he would attend the tournament but it is now clear it will not be as a player.
Swedish FA chief Lars Richt said: “I talked to Zlatan on Tuesday. He announced he did not change his mind about the national team – it is no.”
