Taiwo Oloyede Named Buruj Academy Head Coach

OLOYEDE TAKES CHARGE AT BURUJ

Former Stationery Stores striker Taiwo Oloyede has been appointed as the head coach at Buruj Sports Academy as part of new measures to strengthen the technical department of the outfit.
In a release by the management signed by the CEO/MD of the Ikorodu-based academy, Salaudeen Waheed, the appointment will take effect as from Monday and Oloyede’s first duty will be to raise a strong team that will travel to England for the upcoming English Super Cup.
Waheed also said the appointment of the ex- IBWA player is expected to take care of some noticeable deficiencies in the technical know-how of the players of the academy due to his years of experience playing the game.
Born on April 24 1963, Oloyede played active football for some of the best clubs in the local scene like First Bank FC, Union Bank FC, Sunshine Stars, Rangers International, BBC Lions and Julius Berger FC.
After his active days in the game, the former Flying Eagles captain attended National Institute of Sports where he obtained a Certificate in Advance Coaching and Licensing Certificate C.
Oloyede said: “I count it as a big privilege to contribute my quote and help the young players actualise their dreams. After playing for so many years and for so many clubs in this country, I promise to bring my wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of my duties. Together, we can take Buruj Sports Academy to greater heights.”
