Team Tanzania women’s football coach, Rogasian Kaijage has admited that his team was inferior to their Nigerian counterparts, Super Falcons.
Kaijage told Completesportsnigeria.com in Congo Brazzaville moments after his team suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat in the hands of the reigning African Champions, Super Falcons, that they have taken pride in standing firm against a team like the Falcons.
He admits that Nigeria is too far ahead of Tanzania in women’s footbal stressing that Tanzania can only kneel down where the Super Falcons are standing when it comes to Women’s football on the African continent.
“We are not ashamed of anything, Nigeria is a super power not only in African women’s football but in the world.
“For us, losing to the Falcons is not a big deal because we are not anywhere near them in standard.
“We can only compete with teams like Congo and not even Ivory Coast. Nigeria and Ivory Coast are the strongest teams in African women’s football.
“So losing to Nigeria is not a worry to us because we know they are far too much ahead of us and we cannot compete against them,” Kaijage told Completesportsnigeria.com after Falcons defeated the Tanzanian women national team on Wednesday at Massamba to go top of the group A with six points from two games.
