Ex Nigeria defender Taye Taiwo says the motive behind his joining Swedish division 1 side AFC Eskilstuna was sheer hunger for fresh challenges and regular football action, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The former FC Lausanne-Sport defender who was unveiled by his new Swedish club Eskilstuna on Wednesday, is a short term contract till the end of the season.
Taiwo's move to AFC Eskilstuna becomes his eighth European club side since he joined Olympique Marseille in 2006.
"I would love to enjoy stability, like every professional footballer out there, but in football you never know," The former AC Milan, WPR, and Dynamo Kiev left-back told BBC Sport.
"My desire is to play football regularly and the plan is to achieve that here.
"I came to Eskilstuna knowing the challenges can only bring out the best in me and I hope my experience will help the club as well."
