Scott Taylor believes he and his fellow Hull FC forwards can prove their doubters wrong by shining in the 2019 Super League season.
The Airlie Birds’ pack has been criticised in recent years for a lack of dynamism and their inability to consistently provide a platform was viewed as a key reason for the team’s inability to trouble the top four in 2018.

Taylor has again been named the vice-captain for 2019, with Danny Houghton skippering the team, and the 27-year-old has backed his colleagues to front up and take the game to their opposition on a regular basis.
“I have been hammered a lot during my career and there have been articles going out in the last year or two about me, but you don’t hear one thing coming back off me,” Taylor told Hull Live.
“We take the criticism on board and we will respond. You’ve got Danny Houghton as captain and me as vice. We’ll be leading from the front. With the people in our pack, we’ve got the experience with Sika Manu and Mark Minichiello.
“I’m going not going to make any ridiculous statements but people can make their own mind up on our pack 10 weeks into next season. Let’s see how many packs are dominating us by then because it will take a good group of forwards to get on top of us.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
