Tenger Lures Gwar, Tyavkase Back To Lobi

Lobi Stars Coach, Justin Tenger has confirmed the signing of veteran league stars, Sibi Gwar and David Tyavkase by the Makurdi based club, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Gwar was on the payroll of Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, of Ibadan last season. He had previously featured for Enyimba and Niger Tornadoes of Minna, scoring club record 18 goals in the 2012 season.

Similarly, Tyavkase who returns to his state team for a third time, won the 2003 and 2004 CAF Champions League with Enyimba and has had spells at Heartland of Owerri before a move to Manga Sport of Gabon.

“They are experienced players we need to boost our squad for the coming 2015/2016 season,” Tenger told Completesportsnigeria.com Wednesday.

“They are not new to the environment at Lobi Stars; at various times, they had been part of the team and we believe they will bring something special to our team.

“Tyakase is an attacking minded midfielder. Gwar is a striker so we’re happy to have them in our fold”, Tenger sounded.
