Tizzard Admits Concern For Eldorado

Trainer Colin Tizzard admits Eldorado Allen could miss the rest of the season after picking up an injury at Aintree.

The four-year-old looked impressive when making his seasonal bow at Sandown in the 188Bet Mobile Maiden Hurdle on November 11.

He saw off strong competition to claim victory ahead of Sevarano by four-and-a-half lengths and he travelled to Aintree last weekend at the top of the ante-post betting.

However, the Cheltenham Festival hopeful failed to finish the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle on December 8 and Tizzard admits it could be a season-ending injury.

Tizzard said: “Eldorado Allen hurt his hock. “He could be out for a month but it might be the season.”
