Everton are reported to be in the hunt to sign Benfica star Andrija Zivkovic, who is keen to make the switch to Merseyside. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has caught the eye of the Toffees following some impressive performances in the league and Champions League this season and talk of a bid has been reported.
The Serbia international has scored four goals for Benfica, but it’s the player’s creativity that has caught the eye as he has provided 19 assists for his team-mates.

Recent injuries to Gylfi Sigurdsson and Andre Gomes have prompted Everton boss Marco Silva to think about drafting in another attacking midfielder and Zivkovic is said to be a target.
Everton’s chances of doing a deal have been boosted by reports claiming that Zivkovic would jump at the chance of a move to Goodison Park, despite being a regular in the Benfica side.
Everton officials have cooled talk of a January spending spree, but there is still likely to be one or two additions if the right players are available.
