Striker M’Baye Niang has joined French side Rennes on an initial loan deal from Torino. The Senegal international had been on the lookout for a new club this month and has sealed a return to France, with Rennes expected to be given the chance to sign him permanently at the end of the campaign.

The 23-year-old, who came through the Caen academy, has struggled to make an impact in Italy following his move to Serie A giants AC Milan in 2012.
He had loan stints at the likes of Montpellier, Genoa and Watford before his switch to Torino.
