Super Eagles fringe striker Bright Dike has been re-signed by MLS side Toronto FC.
A message from the club’s official Twitter handle read: ‘Toronto FC can confirm that @bbright19 has re-signed with the club.’
Dike has scored one goal in nine games (five starts) for the Reds since arriving from Portland Timbers in September 2013.
The Nigerian’s time in Toronto has been marred by a torn archilles sustained early on in 2014.
The injury also kept him from taking part in Nigeria’s World Cup campaign in the summer in Brazil.
The 27-year-old Dike has scored seven career MLS goals in 32 appearances (14 starts) since joining Portland ahead of the club’s inaugural MLS season in 2011.
