Troost-Ekong Crashes With Haugesund, Henty On Target

It wasn't a return to league football to remember for Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong as his Norwegian side FK Haugesund were thrashed 5-0 by Stroemsgodset on Friday.

Troost-Ekong who featured in the Eagles two games against Tanzania and Niger Republic during the international break, was on for 90 minutes for Haugesund but couldn't help his side to prevent the heavy loss.

it was the sixth appearance of Troost-Ekong for Haugesund since his loan move from Belgian champions, Gent.

His Nigerian teammate, Sadeeg Yusuf was introduced in the 69th minute for Daniel Bamberg.

Goals from Nigerian striker, Marco Tagbajumi (brace), Lars Christopher Vilsvik, Bismarck Adjei-Boateng and Mohammed Abu, sealed the win for Stroemsgodset.

In Slovania, Ezekiel Henty was on target for Olimpija, as they beat Krka 3-1 away.

The goal which was Henty's fifth in nine appearances, saw him open the scoring in the 53rd minute. 

Miha Zajc scored Olimpija's other two goals, while Ziga Kastrevec netted Krka's only goal.
