Nigeria U-23s defender, William Troost-Ekong, has stated that they will do everything possible to pick the bronze medal in Saturday's third place match against Honduras.
The U-23 Eagles lost 2-0 to Germany in the semi-final on Wednesday.
Reacting to the loss to Germany, Ekong, who has featured in every game the U-23 Eagles have played, insisted that they did their best against Germany.
He wrote on his Twitter handle: "Gave it everything. Now we pick ourselves up again and fight to bring home bronze on Saturday."
A win for the U-23 Eagles will see them pick Nigeria's third football medal at the Olympics after winning gold and silver in Atlanta 1996 and Beijing 2008 respectively.
