Impressive. This is what we need to be doing week in and out to reach at a level to compete with the best there is.
Apparently,we weren’t ready to compete with the rest of the world even in the era of our supposedly best super eagles of 1994.We have tried to exceed previous achievements to no avail all because we weren’t ready. The question is what have we got to do to be ready to compete?
Apparently,it goes beyond having amazing talents to compete with the best footballers the world has at the mundial.Stepping up careers is something we have failed to do until recently.Astonishingly, lately our players have stunned us with big moves and it can only get better. Now we are on the path to success. We are gradually building strength, confidence and pedigree to compete at the highest level this we have failed to do in the past yet expecting to win the world cup what a joke ha.
Though we are not there yet but are not far from reaching that level to compete with Argentina and win even with Messi on parade. We have failed to compete against the Argies because we weren’t ready and the mental strength to win against huge oppositions is at minimal. But with recent developments, we are building strength and if this trend continues then we are ready to compete in 2022.
    God bless Nigeria.

  • Great move and great debut for Troost Ekong.
Still wonders how Ekong made this happen.
I’m very happy with this move.
Let hope he makes the most of his chances at SerieA with Udinese
