William Troost Ekong is pleased with the point Udinese earned in Sunday’s Italian Serie A clash with Ola Aina’s Torino, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Rodrigo de Paul shot hosts Udinese into the lead after 28 minutes, but Soualiho Meite drew Torino level four minutes into the second half.
Ekong played all 90 minutes in the encounter on his return from injury and was also pleased with the support of the home fans.
“A good point today, thanks for the support we continue to fight,” Ekong tweeted after the game.
The game was Ekong’s third start of the Serie A campaign since he joined in the summer from Bursaspor.
Udinese are now 11th in the Serie A table with five points from four games.
They will take on Joel Obi’s Chievo Verona in their next game on Sunday in the Italian Serie A.
