Rio 2016 bronze medal winning defender for Nigeria, William Troost Ekong, was on target for Haugesund in their 3-2 home win against Brann in a Norwegian league match on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ekong scored on the stroke of half-time to draw his side level at 2-2.
It was Ekong's second league goal in 17 appearances for Haugesund in this current campaign.
The other scorers for Haugesund are Haris Hajradinovic and Kristoffer Haraldseid, while Kristoffer Barmen and Steffen Lie Skaaler scored for Brann.
In England, Victor Moses scored his first league goal of the season as Chelsea beat visiting Burnley 3-0. Moses who came in as a second half substitute, finished off a counter-attacking move to secure the win for the Blues.
At Vicarage Road, Nigeria's duo of Odion Ighalo and Isaac Success were on the losing side following Watford 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. Success replaced Nordin Amrabat while Ighalo was on for 90 minutes.
Former CSKA forward, Ahmed Musa came off the bench to replace Marc Albrighton in Leicester City's 2-1 win against Swansea at the King Power Stadium.
Jamie Vardy and skipper Wes Morgan scored for the Foxes before Leroy Fer got a consolation goal for Swansea.

Former Hull City forward, Sone Aluko, played for 90 minutes in Fulham's 1-0 win against Blackburn at Ewood Park.In action for Blackburn was Hope Akpan, who was yellow-carded in the 76th minute. Tom Cairney got the game's only goal in the dying minutes of the game.
In another Championship game, former Manchester City defender, Nedum Onuoha, was the hero for Queens Park Rangers as he scored the only goal in their 1-0 away win against Wigan Athletic.His teammate, Olamide Shodipo was an unused substitute in the game.
In the German Bundesliga opening day fixture, Leon Balogun made a 90 minutes appearance for Mainz in their 2-1 away loss to Borussia Dortmund. A brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, gave Dortmund the win, while Yoshinori Muto got Mainz's goal.
In the Netherlands, former Flying Eagles skipper, Abduljeleel Ajagun, featured in Roda JC Kerkrade's 0-0 away draw against Willem who had Funsho Ojo in action for 90 minutes. Ajagun was however yellow-carded in the 90th minute of the game.
One-cap Super Eagles midfielder, Anderson Esiti, ended on the losing side on Saturdayfollowing Estoril's 3-1 home defeat in the hands of Sporting Braga in the Portuguese Premier League. Esiti got in the referee's book 10 minutes into the second half.
