A top official of the Tunisia Football Federation has revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com that the absence of their key players will affect the team's chances of getting a win in the highly anticipated Group C clash against Nigeria on Friday.
Esperance duo; Ben Yousef and Yacine Khnissi, Saber Khalifa who plays for Club Africain as well as Etoile du Sahel stars, Hamsa Lahmar and Hamal Jmal are some of their key players who failed to make it to the competition due to club engagements and injuries.
The official informed Completesportsnigeria.com that the Carthage Eagles are in Rwanda with a weakened side and it will be difficult for them to beat Nigeria.
"We are here in Rwanda with our second team," he told Completesportsnigeria.com at the team's Lemigo Hotel in Kigali.
"Some of our best players are not here because they were busy with their teams and some are also injured.
"If they are all here, things would have been different for us, but I believe those who are here will give their best.
"It' going to be difficult to beat Nigeria because they are very good players in thein team."
