By James Agberebi : Former Nigeria international, Joseph Dosu, has advised the Flying Eagles to approach their 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan on Saturday with caution.
The Flying Eagles hold a 2-1 first leg win going into the second leg billed for the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos.
A win for the coach Emmanuel Amuneke's side will see them qualify for the 2017 U-20 AFCON in Zambia.
In a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games gold medallist, however expresses confidence that the Flying Eagles will prevail over the Sudanese.
" The fixture is not yet a done deal," Dosu tells Completesportsnigeria.com.
"As we know, football is not mathematics, if they get a goal first against the Flying Eagles, then the tie becomes dicey.
"Having said that, the Flying Eagles should be able to finish the job after winning the first leg. The players have all done well. Emmanuel Amuneke has done a fantastic job with the team.
"I hope at the end of the day, the Flying Eagles will secure the needed victory and qualify for the U-20 Cup of Nations."
The former Julius Berger shot-stopper believes that the Eagles will not lack support from the Lagos fans.
"It is an opportunity for the Lagos fans to once again watch one of the national teams live because it's been a while," Dosu says.
"I am confident the Flying Eagles will get massive support from the Lagos fans which will go a long way in leading them to victory."
