By Richard Jideaka, Abuja:

Ahead of the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations, Sfaxien of Tunisia striker Junior Ajayi has hinted that he will be available to join the U-23 Eagles camp from November 16.
Ajayi told Complete Sports from his Tunisia base that his club has agreed to let him go for the champIonship which will serve as the qualifier for Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

"I don't have any problem with my club over going to Senegal for the U-23 AFCON because we agreed on this before I sIgned for SC Sfaxien. I have reminded them and they say I can go when the time comes," Ajayi, one of coach Samson Siasia's most important players, said.

"I will be in camp from November 16 and I guess we may be on break then, so I don't have a problem being available for the tournament in Senegal."

Asked if the U-23 Eagles will qualify from their group with stiff oposition that includes Egypt, Algeria and Mali, the former Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan star said that going for the Rio Olympics is not negotiable.

He said that having lost the All Africa Games gold in Congo, the U-23 Eagles have to go all out to appease Nigerians in Senegal by not only qualifying but winning the trophy.

"Congo was an eye opener and I can assure you that what led to our missing the gold at the AAG will not be allowed to happen again. We are going to win and go to Rio as African champions," he boasted to Completesportsnigeria.com.
