U-23 AFCON: Siasia Set To Make Midfield Changes For Egypt Clash

By Johnny Edward:

Nigeria U-23s coach Samson Siasia is set to make some changes ‎in his midfield ahead of his side's second Africa U-23 Cup of Nations group game against Egypt on Wednesday, a team source has revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.

Siasia who ‎is out to secure his side's place in the last four with a win against the young Pharoahs was not satisfied with the performance of his midfield duo of Okey Azubuike and Usman Mohammed  who‎ looked jaded in the second half  and his defence line.

"The coach was not happy with the performance of the team especially in the second half and he's pondering changing a few in midfield and defence for the game against Egypt," the source told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"But you know most times these coaches may want to stick to their winning team."

Nigeria ‎currently lead group B with three points followed by Algeria and Egypt in second and third spots with one point each.
