UCL Final: Simeone Vows To Attack Real Madrid

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has promised an attacking formation against Real Madrid in Saturday's final of the UEFA Champions League.

Both teams will meet in the Champions League final for the second time in three seasons.

In the 2014 final, Real triumphed 4-1 to claim their 10th title.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the game, Simeone stated that it would be a spectacular game.

The former Argentine international pointed out that his team's persistence will see them win the Champions League for the very first time.

"I expect a great, intense game tomorrow," Simeone said.

"If you keep persevering and try, try, try-you get what you want."

"We're going to put 11 players in their box, and just attack…honestly, though, we have our structure and we will stick to it."

"Only winning will make us happy. Only that," he stated.

Simeone also played down any form of pressure, while relishing the thought of playing in the San Siro Stadium.

"I like having 130 years of history weighing down on me- I love that; I thrive on pressure."

"Tomorrow we have the chance to play in one of the most magnificent stadiums in the world."
