Nigerian midfielder John Mikel Obi has predicted a difficult game for Chelsea in their second leg Round of 16 clash against PSG tonight(Wednesday.
The French champions hold a 2-1 first leg win and need to avoid a heavy defeat in order to progress into the quarter-finals.
According to chelseafc.com, Mikel said they (Chelsea) will have to be smart in the game to stand a chance of going through.
"We all know what happened the last time we played them here, they scored in the last few minutes and then we couldn’t go through," Mikel said.
"It will be cagey, very difficult and we have to approach it in a clever way.
Mikel stated that it's only through team work that Chelsea can overcome the Parisiens.
"Cesc Fabregas had a rest against Stoke, Diego Costa didn’t start the game and players like them and Eden Hazard will be vital for us. It’s all about being together, we’re not counting on individuals but the whole team."
Mikel also hailed the Blues fans for always being with them despite a poor season.
"Our fans have been amazing so I’m sure they will all come out to support us. There have been ups and downs this season but they have stuck by us."
