Nigeria duo, John Ogu and Tony Nwakaeme’s Israeli clubside Hapoel Beer Sheva have been drawn against Flora Tallinn from Estonia in the first qualifying round of the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League.
The draw which consists of 32 teams, was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Tuesday.
Hapoel Beer Sheva will be guests of Flora Tallinn for the first-leg before hosting the second-leg.
Norwegian top flight club Rosenborg, who has Nigerian winger Samuel Adegbenro on their books, were drawn against Valur Reykjavik of Iceland.
Valur Reykjavik will welcome Rosenborg for the first-leg before going to Norway for the reverse fixture.
Midtjylland’s Nigerian trio Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka and Rilwan Hassan are already in the second qualifying round and will face one of the 16 teams that will progress from the first qualifying round.
The first-legs of the first qualifying round matches comes up on 10/11 and 17/18, 2018.
