Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated that his side can still qualify for the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal need two unreplied goals or to beat Olympiacos 3-2 to qualify for the next round.
Speaking in Tuesday’s pre-match press conference, Wenger said Arsenal’s impressive away record against top sides in the past will be in his side’s favour.
“We have to put in every scenario in our head,” says Wenger. “We can only focus on the performances and the goals will come.
“When will the goal come? I don’t know. But if we play well the chance will come for the goals to be scored.
“We can qualify for the last-16 at Europe. That is what is at stake.
“Look, at the moment we just want to give absolutely everything to qualify tomorrow.
“If you want to jump over a hurdle, you do not think what happens if you miss it.”
“We have a history of positive results, we have won everywhere in Europe and we know we can do it.
“We just want to focus on a top quality performance.
“Let’s not forget Olympiacos are qualified at the moment but they can lose what they have. That can create a fear factor.”
He also pointed out the importance of Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini, who will be deputizing for the injured duo of Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin.
“Our midfield is important in games like this, so Ramsey and Flamini will be important and must play well. I am confident they will.”
