Serie A side Udinese have reportedly enquired about the services of Warri Wolves and Super Eagles central defender Azubuike Egwuekwe.
Italian news website TMW reveals that the Serie A campaigners have competition for the 25-year-old as English Championship side, Watford, are also interested in signing the big defender, according to a report on SL10.
Wolves who will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season,it is understood, are willing to do business with serious clubs that want the talent of the big man.
The defender will cost between £100,000 and €200,000.
The Eagles defender came through the Yerima Strikers football system and also played for Nasarawa United in the past.
Egwuekwe stands at 6 ft 5 and would appear to have the physique and the presence to thrive in European football.
Egwuekwe hasn’t been first choice for the Super Eagles since 2012, but has still made nine starts for the national side since the beginning of 2013.
