Reigning Glo Premier League top striker, Mfom Udoh is looking to score more goals for the side after scoring his first of the season against Bayelsa United.
The dark skinned player’s 50th minute strike was all what the Peoples Elephants needed to secure their first win of the campaign. Udoh who set a scoring record last season when he finished the campaign with 23 goals, three more than Emem Eduok of Dolphins, insists he has what it takes to surpass that record.
”It’s good to score my first goal of the season as it gives confidence to always do well.
”Now, I hope I can continue from there and add to last season’s tally.
”It’s not something that has been done in the past and I hope to be able to achieve that,,”he said.
Next on the line for Enyimba is a clash against Smouha Football Club of Egypt in the Orange CAF Champions League.
The two-time African Champions won the first leg 1-0 two weeks ago at the Enyimba Sports Stadium.
