Uganda Coach Names 18 Man Squad To Face Nigeria

Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named the final 18 players to face the Super Eagles in Wednesday’s international friendly match at the Abuja National Stadium.

Micho released the final list of players after the Sunday last training session held at the KCCA Stadium, Lugogo in Kampala.

South African based striker, Geofrey Massa who plies his trade with University of Pretoria F.C is expected to lead the Cranes attack in Abuja.

While South African based goal keeper, Denis Onyango who will fly directly to Nigeria, just like Portugese based William Luwagga Kizito should be in goal.

The team is led by FUFA Executive committee member, Darius Mugoye, FUFA’s Vice President.

The Squad:
Goalkeepers: Denis Onyango and Isma Rashid Watenga

Defenders: Isaac Isinde, Richard Kassaga, Murushid Jjuko,
Shafiki Bakaki ,Alex Kakuba, Godfrey Walusimbi, Denis Iguma, Joseph Nsubuga

Midfielders: Miya Faruku, Khalid Aucho, William Kizito, Kizito Kezironi, Brian Majwega

Strikers: GeoFfrey Massa, Robert Sentongo, Brian Umony

The match is billed to kick-off 6pm Nigerian time and 8pm in Ugandan time tomorrow (Wednesday).
