Umar’s Goal Seals Win For Osmanlispor; Omeruo, Echiejile Also Win

Nigerian forward, Aminu Umar, was on target for Osmanlispor in their 2-1 away win against Akhisar Belediyespor in the Turkish first division on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Umar who was brought into the match in the 72nd minute, scored in the 85th minute to seal the win for Osmanlispor.

It was Umar's second goal in 11 league appearances this season.

Still in the Turkish first division, Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo made an appearance for Alanyaspor who beat Karabukspor 2-0 away. Omeruo played 90 minutes for Alanyaspor.

In the German Bundesliga, Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun did not feature in FSV Mainz 1-0 away loss to Borussia Monchengladbach. Balogun was an unused substitute for Mainz.

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon was in action for Gent who were held 1-1 at home by Oostende in the Belgian top flight. Oostende  had Nigerian forward Joseph Akpala on their bench.

In action also for Gent was Anderson Esiti while, Rabiu Ibrahim was benched throughout the game.

And also in Belgium, Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile played 90 minutes for Standard Liege who beat Westerlo 3-1.
