Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Lille hitman Nicolas Pepe after his hat-trick against Amiens on Saturday. Telefoot claim the two Premier League clubs are keen on the 23-year-old Ivory Coast international, who has fired four goals and assisted three more for Les Dogues in four Ligue 1 matches this season.
Claims on the French TV show suggest Lille are braced for bids in the January transfer window but, if Pepe maintains his current red hot form, they will be talking about a huge fee to do business.
Lille paid Angers £9million for Pepe in 2017 but could have cashed in for a profit last summer after he bagged 13 league goals in 31 starts and a handful of substitute appearances during his first season.
Southampton reportedly failed with a £12.5million bid last summer while Roma, Sevilla, Lyon and Schalke have also been linked to Pepe in the past few months.
Reports claim Lille will hold out for at least £31million for their top striker.
