Uzochukwu Makes Winning Debut For Amkar Perm

Nigerian midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu made his competitive debut for Russian top league side, Amkar Perm, in their 2-0 away win over Rubin Kazan on Sunday, reports.

The former FC Midtjylland star played the entire duration of the encounter and was booked in the 25th minute of the game.

His compatriots Fegor Ogude and Brian Idowu were both on from start to finish in the encounter.

In Belgium, Imoh Ezekiel was left out of the Anderlecht side that won 3-2 against Waasland-Beveren on Sunday.

Ezekiel is currently on a season loan deal from Qatari side Al Arabi.

Kayode Olanrewaju failed to make his pre-season form count in his first league game for Austria Wien who spanked Wolfsberger AC 2-0 on Sunday. The former Flying Eagles star was on from start to finish in his side’s first win of the season.
